OK so I freakin can't get enough of ESPN.com. I read just about everything on that site from stats to stories. I gravitate to the two Righters among all the writers on the site. My favorite journalist - Pat Forde, and my favorite columnist - "The Sports Guy" Bill Simmons.
Forde was a longtime columnist for the Courier-Journal here in the Ville and got the call up to the big leagues about 3 years ago. Since he left the paper has struggled to replace him with two mediocre fill-ins. His current replacement is a dufus named Eric Crawford who poops on my eyes every time I read his columns. He's actually some of the inspiration for this blog.
Anyways I tell you all of this 'cause you'll probably find me linking to some of these guys stories now and again (the first two cause they're good, the last guy cause heblows).
So here's a link to Forde's Forde Minutes, his weekly column on ESPN.com

Check out the shout-outs to the Cards (#7 & #25) and the Commodores (#27 & #32). There is a sweet interview with Derrick Byars where he rates Vandy Girls and says his couch would whoop Joakim Noah.
Good Stuff.
